ENGLISH:
Balz Isler (*1982),
is a thinker, musician, performer and stimulator. Visual and acoustic fragment
s are rearranged to form new relations through strategies of assembly,
repetition and projection. With the application of voice and its digital replica,
Balz Isler communicates personal thoughts about the “world behind the world”
embedded in the images. His artistic work entangles the physical and subjective experience
with the flood of digital images in abstract ideas,
which implicate an endlessness of subjective perception, experience and navigation.

Balz Isler (*1982),
Performer, Künstler und Denker, lebt und arbeitet in Berlin.
Er studierte an der Hochschule für Bildende Künste Hamburg,
in Zeitbezogenen Medien bei Marie-José Burki und Jeanne Faust.
2011 diplomierte er mit Auszeichnung und erhielt das
"Stipendium zur Förderung des künstlerischen und wissenschaftlichen
Nachwuchses der Freien und Hansestadt Hamburg" und wurde der
vierzehnte Stipendiat bei "Junge Kunst in Essen" am Kunsthaus Essen.
Balz Isler bewegt sich in der Komposition von Klang und Raum, in
Installationen und Performances, in denen er sich mit der heutigen
Clip, - und Dokumentarkultur beschäftigt. Er sammelt, überlagert
und ordnet neu um, und versucht mittels unterschiedlichen Medien
neue Zusammenhänge zu knüpfen. Sie in die "Echtzeit" zu übersetzten
(Paul Virilio), um allenfalls auf neue Bewegungen zu schließen.
